The Nursery "Alice" is a version of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland adapted for very young children, "from nought to five" as Carroll himself put it. It was first published in 1890, 25 years after the original Alice, and included twenty of Tenniel's illustrations from the original book colored and enlarged.
